An adorable trait with this cat is that it loves to follow its owner around. Oftentimes it will try to sneak a nap on your lap when it has a chance. It tends to paw things rather than claw them and thus this makes for it being one of the safest animals to have around children. Due to this, there really is no need for declawing it.

A long lived breed, expect to have many years of companionship and love with this breed. They can have a lifespan on average of fifteen to twenty years with the proper care and love. By ensuring that they stay inside the house most of the time, this will make the lifespan that much longer, as to avoid infections and scuffles with other animals.
