You can also do examinations on the cat based on its appearance of the body parts such as ears, eyes, nose hair and other parts that may contain symptoms of an unhealthy cat. By doing this, you ensure that the cat you are choosing is safe from infections and do not pose serious issues to you too.

Age is the one that determines the behavior and mostly the health of a sibling. A well-aged cat has all the eyes fully opened and hence can operate without guidance. It has stayed with the family long enough to learn the acceptable behaviors and also has finished suckling. These all shapes the behavior and independence of a given cat.

Hair length, Shedding may be very stressful for the feline owner. You can choose the one with your favorite color to make it easy. The darling may be chosen to matches the color of your house furniture. This will make the shed hairs invisible hence less stressful. The length of the hair determines the rate of shedding. Therefore ensure that you choose the appropriate hair that fits your personality. The hair is short, long or medium.

Gender. When choosing a cat to ensure that the gender matches your desire, female cats tend to give birth, and this means more economy. Consider if you can take care of many kittens before selecting a female cat. If you do not have enough space and finances for many cats, then consider adopting a male one.
