How to Get Rid of Cat Dandruff

There are some conditions that humans and animals both get. One of those is dandruff. If you notice some white flakes on your cat, it probably has a case of dandruff. Bathe your cat with a dandruff shampoo made for cats. Once your cat's dandruff is gone, use a hypoallergenic cat shampoo with a moisturizing conditioner to keep your cat from getting dandruff again in the future.

Set up a consultation with your veterinarian. Some cats can have dandruff if they are diabetic. It is important to make sure the dandruff isn't a symptom of a more severe illness.
